[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This little armadillo was brought in to Stones and Waves Animal Clinic by a local resident. It is too young to be on its own and no one knows what happened to its mother. It will be bottle fed for now and its fate will be determined later.

Update: The armadillo was kept by the clinic for several week while it was fed earthworms and grub. Eventually instinct took over and it was able to forage its own food. It was eventually released in a forest despite the fact many wanted to keep it in captivity.

Hello Cesar,

The cute factor in this picture is very, very high and technically this photo is almost flawless. I would have liked it even better if the hands were not visible, but I guess it was difficult to let him pose, right? TFS!

Hej Cesar!
Pozdrawiam - Roma

Nice perspective. The hands help us with the scale. Well done and thanks for sharing!

So adorable!!!!! I just love the little cutie!

Crystal clear photo, you have a reference for knowing the size of the armadillo = very instructive shot, i am one who did not know ( no idea at all) the size of these youngsters.

Hi Cesar,

That's a real sweety.
Beautifully detailed and sharp. A magnificent animal. Good proportioned.

I've never seen a baby armadillo - only adults. Great lighting, contrast and color, but the subject matter is what caught my attention. :)

I cant put words to this, you are exceptionally lucky. TFS

Such a lovely photo of this beautiful and cute little animal. I have never seen this animal in nature, maybe in zoo. Very sharp and good photo. TFS!

This is soooo cute! Like most canadians who have never seen an armadillo period, I had never seen a baby one. Thanks for sharing. Dan
