i like this colours green with the little blue more than the other green from other places ,in costa rica you have differend green

A real beauty and perfectly shown!! Love the super fine detail and vivid yet natural colors. Outstanding DOF and excellent exposure. I had hoped to catch a glimpse of one of these little guys while in Costa Rica this summer, but it never happened. Outstanding!!

DUDE i am SOOOoo thankful you LOVE FROGS! If you didn't have that hawk eye this could have been missed. WOW what a specimen. Love the mood too; deep brown leaf dusky tree bark..what a back drop of nature displaying this beatuty! TFS

Hi Paul
had a look at it this morning on an old laptop and I saw a dull image and couldn't believe its yours, now on my Mac screen just a great image with just enough contrast on the frog with fluorescent colors, what a difference. Now I can imagine how great an image this must be as a giant canvas.

This is a super macro, which I like for many reasons.
1. The bright combination of colours of the frog is very eye-catching.
2. The shiny texture of the frog's skin is seen with great clarity.
3. The brown leaf it is resting on adds additional dynamic to this already great image.
4. Both the subjects, the colourful frog as well as the leaf is captured with great clarity and portrayed beautifully.
5. I like the way the leaf serves as a background as well as a natural frame around the frog.
6. The composition and point of view is pleasant.
Need I say more? I don't think so. This is a super image!

In my 'previous life' in TrekNature I found a giant shongololo, who was unwilling to remain in a photogragraphical position.
