[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This shot was taken on the shores of Achensee, a lake located among the Alps about 30 km far away from Innsbruck, Tyrol.
In Tyrol we call this kind of flower "Löwenzahn", which means tooth of the lion.

Name: Taraxacum officinale
Class: Dicotyledones
Family: Asteraceae

Growing usually in large sunny meadows, this flower has leaves growing from the base of its stalk, which bring water directly to the roots.
It is used also as medicine in order to heal rheumatism.

In English it is known as a Dandelion. The flower is alway so popular with the insects. And this ball of seeds will make sure it spreads itself around next year. Good shot Samuele, nicely shown, Bravo!

Hi Samuele!
Excellent composed, great colour.

hello:) snowballs:) really I need them:D here is so warm:D great shot with nice POV and DOF:) great one:)

Hi Samuele,
A beautiful composition, Nice detail on the main part of your subject, with nice soft OOF surroundings. I cannot count the times as a kid that you would pull these and blow on the flower to watch the seed pods blow away in the wind. Thanks for the reminder.

Nice macro Samuele, Nice details, colors and light. Maybe your subject is a bit too centered? F stop - shutter-speed? Good supporting note, Well done.
