This shot was taken on the shores of Achensee, a lake located among the mountain about 30 km far from Innsbruck, Tyrol.

The flower is a wild rose
Name: Rosa Canina
Family: Rosaceae

Growing in bushes about 1 to 3 meters high, it has deciduous leaves, and pink or white flowers from May to July. It produces also red ovoid fruits, which last until the winter comes and are used in order to prepare jams.

The bug is a Cetonia Aurata.
Family: Scarabaeide
Living all over Europe from April to September, this bug feeds nectar and pollen off from roses and other flowers. Medium length is 5-10 cms.
