I like your choice of pictured subject. It is beautiful and very expressive. Perfect quality of your picture to allow getting a great pleasure seeing this small chef-d'oeuvre.

Amazing stem and its incline, beautiful and perfectly reproduced butterfly at nice position, pleasant to eye nicely blurred and coloured BG. Their combination makes a strong esthetic impression.

Schlichte, auf das Wesentliche beschränkte Komposition, mit einem weichen,die Berge aber noch suggerierenden Hintergrund. Schöner könnte dieser in der Morgensonne funkelnde Dukatenfalter nicht präsentiert werden. Perfekte Ausgwogenheit des Bildes, das kleine Stückchen Gras, unten links, hält alles im Gleichgewicht. Una verdadera composición a partir de una mariposa Peter, donde la percha y el fondo difuso tienen el mismo protagonismo al igual que el imponente cielo azul.

A true composition starting from a butterfly Peter, where the hanger and the diffuse bottom have the same protagonism the same as the imposing blue sky.
Simple, delicate, with focus and brightness offering details and sharpness with a really beautiful palette of colors.

Hi Peter

Soothing, visually pleasing, and very stimulating. The clean mountain air, the rich morning light, and the freshness of the view edged against the clear blue sky plus the faded image of the mountain as backdrop all adds to make this a stunning posting. Then I did not even talk about the beauty of the butterfly yet. That brilliant dash of orange that wants to jump out of the frame and come and flutter around my PC. An impressive package.

The vertical composition was an excellent choice and the fact that you did not crop the photo somewhere just below the butterfly, but allowed an extended view of the stalk of grass, gave it an added dimension. Lovely colours and fabulous details enhanced by a perfect exposure rounded it off and the result is a splendid photo.

It's really good this uncommon pose of the butterfly!
I like the same orientation of the insect and the plant, and the perpendicualr direction marked by the wings axis, almost aligned with the mountain.
Excellent DOF used here, you got a perfect background to this scene.
Details and sharpness on the insect are so good that we can enjoy to look at it many times.
I like very much this vertical composition also.

A little late...i know...sorry...but this raelly is an outstanding composition!
I mean the slightly diagonal positioning of the straw, the perfect focus on the BG, that splendid 2-toned blurred BG...everything fell into place here! Terrific result!
Further more, the positioning of the subject here is great, the colors are amazing and the details crispy-clear!
