Hello Peter,
This is a superb capture, especially considering it was windy!
The features of this Colias phicomone are well shown from a good POV with excellent sharpness on the Crepis flower against a pleasing OOF natural BG.
This is a species that I have never seen but I can imagine it is not easy to get close enough to take such a fine shot.

Hi Peter.
You are great Master to show tiniest and so amazing details of the pictured objects. Butterfly, flower and every its petal as well as inclined stem are reproduced with extreme exactness and beautifulness. BG is fantastic and looks like taken with superb DSLR. Composition and 3D-effect are amazing too. Bravo.

Superb macro capture of the beautiful Mountain Clouded Yellow butterfly with great details!
I like the sharpness and POV here with great show of the natural colors. Nice contrast can be seen between the colors of the butterfly and the bright red flower.

Lieber Peter,
Freut mich sehr von Dir Colias phicomone zu sehen, einen Falter, der höchst selten gezeigt wird. Ich dachte auch bei Alexei, dass es wohl nicht diese Spezies sei. Wie sich doch dieser Alpengelbling an den Gold-Pippau klammert! Allerdings hat er farblich nicht schlecht gewählt und Dir erlaubt ein wunderschönes Bild zu realisieren. Das WS-Bild gefällt mir auch sehr. Wie Phicomone auf dem Stein mit dem gelbem Lichen wieder eine ihm nahe Farbe gewählt hat. Schöne Landschaft auch.
Herzlichen Dank für Deinen lieben Worte zu meinen Bildern. Sie haben mich sehr gefreut.

Hello Peter,

You present us this week a very nice composition of this Pieridae posed on this nice flower. In fact, both together like to form a new flower specied! I like the yellow-spotted green bg being similar in color to the butterfly wings. Great details on the insect also and really nice composition.

ich habe Deine Seite nicht mehr konsultiert und sträflicherweise dieses Bild mit dem Alpengelbling verpasst. Also bei Dir gibt es noch Steigerung trotz konstant hohem Niveau, unglaublich. Mit gefällt nicht nur die Komposition und das wunderbare Licht so gut, sondern auch die Tatsache, dass es sich um eine nicht oft gesehene Art von Schmetterling und um eine Wildblume (nicht Zierpflanze im Garten) handelt. Die Farben! Einfach schön hinzusehen. Ich markier das Bild mit einem Stern.
