Another fine looking mushroom captured by your lens. I like the soft lighting, rich color tones and sharp detail. Great work!!
I normally photograph a few during the season, but this year I didn't see the large numbers that I have in past years. I guess I will just have to enjoy the images of those here on TN.

A beautiful species indeed; excellent color. I like the way you manage BG. Perfect for such photograph. Personally I don't want to keep such big portion of rotten wood (right side) and would like to go vertical frame. IMHO, in such composition you could get rid to place the fungi in dead centre and OOF dead rotten wood won't take much place in the frame. The look of your photograph would changed dramatically, In my personal opinion.
