[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This isn't my best picture, you may even argue that quality and sharpness is rather poor for a good lens and good camera, but please have a look at the camera settings. It's hardly believable but this was shot in almost darkness at 5000 ISO. Who could believe only 2 or 3 years ago this would become possible. Could you imagine using a color film 10 years ago using 5000 ISO. Incredible technology.

For a ISO5000 the composition it is very fine,
photo shot with fine POV and framing,
great pose of the deer buck, TFS

Hello Tom,
The quality is truly incredible for that high ISO rating. I did B&W photography for many years and the hardest I occasionally pushed a film was 3200 ASA and then it gave a very grainy effect. You probably did some noise reduction but it still is incredible that this quality can be attained. Thank you for an interesting contribution.

In the early days, long .... long time ago, if I have to be exact more than 30 years ago I remember playing with a Polaroid Color ISO1600. I still remember the attractive packaging and the disappointing result after the development when I saw the grain of the film which was as large as pears. Those days even an ISO of 400 was something crude and tabu for most photographers. Even the top of the ice cream Fujifilm Valvia50 at that time seems can not compete with today's full-frame cameras at ISO1600 probably ....
