I shall love every canard which passes before me. Whether living in nature or perhaps at a different time not so delicate....These are among my favorite birds. I have carvings of wood and paintings in colors which my father has drawn and carved. We also hunted these 50 years ago when I first started woods'ing with my father. Your picture is a winner!

Slt Jean Mich,

Hello Jean-Michel,
A lovely bird, and it seems like a happy bird too!
But then they always look happy because of the shape of the beak, hehehe...
Good details in the plumage and the rippled water makes a nice background!
Pablo -

Nice composition - a classic duck pose. :)
Good sharpness and nice colors. The water looks great here too. :)

Hi Jean,
Good detail, color, and composition.
If possible, a lower POV would be a more dynamic way to shoot this quaker :)
Well done.

Hi Jean Michel

Mallards often get forgotten but they are beautiful ducks. Very nice POV and lovely natural colours captured

A lovely capture of this duck and you seem to have his attention too!
Great composition, fie details
