The Tibetan cherry is is native to western China (Yunan and Sechuan. It is a round-headed deciduous tree with truly magnificent bark and stems which are shining copper-brown with peeling circles. In spring, the tree bears bowl-shaped white flowers 2cm across.

Le cerisier du Tibet (Prunus serrula) est originaire du Yunan et du Sechuan (Chine), espèce décorative de part son écorce remarquable, orange, lisse et brillante comme de l'acajou poli, se détachant en fines lanières horizontales. Sa cime est large, en dôme, dense. Au printemps, il porte des fleurs blanches abondantes, de 2 cm.

Very beautiful tree! Sharpness and colours are good.
As far as the compisition is concerned I would have preferred without framing of only with a thin black frame.
