I think this is a fruit fly belonging to the Tephritidae but I'm not sure.
remark : yes, he escaped in time :)

Excelent shot and well done on the composition and details.
Mike
Very nice macro, Hans.
I think the fly lives in danger;-)
Well composed, nice colours and good details.
Excellent work.
Awesome capture, lots of spirit, the sneaky spider looks ready to capture the handsome fly (never thought i'll ever say that about a fly...)
Superbe macro, Hans !
Très bonne netteté et bonne gestion de la profondeur de champs.
Felicitations !
Nico.
This is a great macro shot... so much details on the fly and we can almost feel the texture of its furry robe. I wonder if the fly is in danger with the presence of this small spider under the leaf... Did you wait long enough to have the answer ?

Exellent Pov Hans. Very good details on the fly. Blurred spider gives a great movement to the composition.
Well done.
Hello Hans, Thanx for the ID. Shot a few of these, wasn't sure what type of fly they were..
Excellent work.
