[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This Marbled White (Melanargia galathea, family Nymphalidae) had strange greenish colours and did not move. When I approached, I understood why. It was dead and became a meal for a crab spider (Thomsidae), a Xysticus, I think.

Hi Catherine. A good close up of the spider just about to start on the Butterfly . sad for the butterfy but thats life in the wild. you have good detail in both with natural colours. well done TFS.
