I caught these small Jackdow to edge of a private garden on a 8 meter distance.

Source Wekipidea:

The Jackdaw (Corvus monedula), sometimes known as the Eurasian Jackdaw, European Jackdaw, Western Jackdaw, or formerly simply the daw, is a dark-plumaged passerine bird in the crow family. It is found across Europe, western Asia and North Africa, and four subspecies are recognised. At 34–39 cm in length, it is one of the smallest species in Corvus, the genus of crows and ravens. It is a black-plumaged bird with grey nape and distinctive white irises. It is an omnivorous and opportunistic feeder, and eats a wide variety of plant material and invertebrates, as well as food waste from urban areas. The Jackdaw has benefited from clearing of forested areas and is found in farmland and urban areas, as well as open wooded areas and coastal cliffs.

I hope you like it.

Nice capture of Jackdaw...I like details and colors. Well done

Hi John,

Very eye-pleasing image of this pretty looking and inteligent jackdaw in a lovely pose.
Nice use of the shallow DOF to focus in on the details.
TFS and have a nice WE!

Ciao John. The best DOF and razor details you've founded in this close up. Bit noised. Hope you'll like my WS. Friendly.

Salut John,

groetjes lou

Hi John,
Fantastic image. Beautiful eye-contact and sharpness, great pose - everything looks perfect. Absolutely top class image, and I have to say the little noise Roberto talked about is also visible on his WS... Anyway, noisy or not, without doubt great visual impact, and I must say bravo! Superb job MF.
Friendly regards, László

Hola John.
You did a gret job here John, It is very hard to have such an excellent sharpness and light in black birds with dark BG.
Just beautiful.

Hallo John,

Hello John,
An all black bird is always a challenge to show any detail, but you have managed quite well in this shot. Perfectly composed image with excellent exposure and great DOF. The only thing I can see is a tiny bit of noise in the BG, but an otherwise overall great photo!! Well done!!

Hi dear John ,
What a great shot.
Excellent details and nice sharpness.
Great BG too.
A perfect work

Kind regards

Hallo John.

Mooi portret.

Gr. Hans

What an amazingly sharp photograph! I can see every fibre of the feathers and mottle in the steel.

Hello John,
What a perfect shot of a Jackdow! We can see every detail of the plumage, just amazing! Thinking especially that the black color of a subject is not the easist for the photographer. Great work!
Thanks and kind regards

Hello John,
Amazing close-up of the Jackdaw with nice colors and excellent details.

Hi John,

The point of view is allowing me to see the details and colors of the jackdow on the fence. It is clear and sharp. It is well framed. The intensity of the light is enhancing the colors. Have a nice day.

Hi John.
A very good capture from the distance of eight meters. The sharpness and details of the plumage is very good. I like the head turn and details around the head and beak. Very good shot at this bird and well framed indeed.
