L'Orchis tacheté est connu de tous, au moins pour sa version D. maculata. Il semble que les sous-espèces, moins connues, aient des répartitions en partie non superposables. Cette sous-espèce concernerait la moitié centrale de la France, du sud-ouest au nord-est, et pousserait dans les prés humides et acides.. Noms français : Dactylorhize tacheté, Orchis maculé, Orchis tacheté. English : Heath Spotted-orchid, Moorland Spotted-orchid, Spotted Orchid. Espanol : Orquis maculat. Italiano : Orchide macchiata
