[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Le Damier de la succise est une espèce protégée aux échelles wallonne et européenne. Fréquentant les milieux maigres (prairies humides, bas-marais, nardaies, coupes forestières...), il recherche principalement la Succise comme support de ponte. L'espèce est localisée à quelques stations de Fagne-Famenne, Ardenne et Lorraine, où ses populations étaient encore fort instables très récemment. Les travaux de restauration menés dans le cadre du projet Life "papillons" depuis 2009 semblent heureusement déjà porter leurs fruits.

Overall image is very colorful, the flowers and butterfly adds. tfs.

Hi John,a lucky meeting whit this rare specie,but the pic is oversharpened and very noised,the flowers of myosotis too are overexposed...no problem,the next time will be better...ehehe..have a nice day and thanks,Luciano
