The Peacock is considered by many to be the most beautiful butterfly in the world. Its beauty was remarked upon as early as 1634 when Sir Theodore de Mayerne, physician to King Charles 1, noted that the 'eyes' on the wings of the Peacock butterfly "shine curiously like stars, and do cast about them sparks of the colours of the Rainbow".

Hello John,
No doubt Peacock is a beautiful species. I like composition of this photograph. Color is truly natural and well light on subject(except a shade on bluish spot on right side). Sharpness is acceptable, but focus as well as details look soft. I like smooth; noiseless BG. Grass blades are really nice and showing its natural habitat.

Nice image of beautiful peacock in a very nice composition, it may be a little bit out of focus, colors and wing pattern very beautiful, nice blurring BG.
