Dear Friends!
I have to say it again: as for now this is my last picture because on Saturday I am leaving again from Lodz. So please excuse me for lack of answers and comments to your interesting and amazing pictures :>
This time I am going together with Michal (cedryk) and 4 other friends for 1 month expedition to Bulgaria and European part of Turkey. A lot of work to do but I believe that after this trip I would be able to show you some interesting photos from these regions :>

And today, just to show you how amazing places are there, a small introduction :>

Here we have sand piramids in Melnik (Pirin Mts.). These amazing forms were made in erosion process by wind and water. They takes about 17 sq. km near Melnik, Rozhen and Kurlanovo. And picture was taken on the trail from Melnik to Rozhen monastery.
With just a little imagination you can see here shapes of giant mushrooms, obelisks, towers, and many other figures ;>

I discoved this place about 6 years ago, but more recently I had oportunity to visit it again 2 weeks ago (a short break during my trip to Macedonia). And I really know that it was not my last time I was there...

Even now, after 6 years and visiting this place two times I can not believe that such mountain area is localized in Europe. I do not know if you agree with me, but it is much more Marsian landscape that something from our planet ;>

This place is not only one of the most beautiful area I have seen on the Balkans but also the warmer one. Temperatures in this region in July are even about +45-50C!!! It is not easy to live here except you are a tortoise, lizard or cicada ;>

And because of so hot temperatures this place is famous also for the great red wine - named after the place where it is produced "Melnik".

And that is all for now my Friends. Thank you in advance for your time and comments, and... see you again after 10 September!!! :>

Hi Radomir,
Fantastic shot of these sand pyramids and the formations look awesome. Superb natural lighting and the faint mountain folds at the distance adds depth to the shot. Excellent POV to portray this beautiful scene and very nicely composed. Kudos.

Hello Radomir,
Thanks for leading me here. It's an amazing landscape, and the geology formation is really unique. What is different between this one and mine is that there are lush green forest surrounding this formation. Very beautiful colors and light. Good composition and very nicely presented. Thanks.
Merrry Christmas.
