Hello Krzysztof,
well discovered and presented with pretty good focus and sharpness. I know that it is nealy impossible to discover the species when resting. Even detection after following them to their next resting place is difficult, because after settling they seem to have disappeared completely due to their camouflage. Thus, you show a valuable document here!
Best wishes, Peter

Me gusta esta toma sobre todo por la naturalidad
en los colores. No es fácil de captar detalladamente esta mariposa por sus difíciles colores y textura, no obstante has conseguido resolver bien la situación.
Un abrazo Krzysztof.

Hello Krzystzof,
Very beautiful butterfly image; I like the overall greyish..

Czesc Krzysiek!

Prawie takiego samego udalo mi sie ustrzelic w Czarnogorze - http://www.treknature.com/viewphotos.php?l=5&p=80258
Bardzo ladny kamuflaz - zwierzak doskonale wtopil sie w tlo. Szczegolowy, ostry i z fajnym okiem :-) Jedyne co przeszkadza, to galazka z przodu, no ale na to sie nic nie poradzi :-)

Hello Krysztof,
Super sharp detailed image of this Grayling.

Hello Krzysztof,
You did well to see and capture this Tree Grayling in this sharp and well composed image in its natural environment. For this reason small twigs or blades of grass that may spoil a perfect portrait are very acceptable because they are part of the environment that this species is a part of.
Well done and thanks,

Hi Chris,
A beautiful capture of this Grayling of Satyrinae. Sharp details with very good colors and composition. Thanks a lot for sharing.

Ciao Krysztof,
ottima immagine, perfettamente a fuoco, che permette di osservare molto bene una specie assai difficile da fotografare, proprio per il suo mimetismo.

Hello Krzysztof,
Very nice shot at this Grayling. The dull color of this butterfly is a good strategy to hide from predator. The image is in perfect focus and well exposed. Very well done and seen.

Hello Krzysztof,

well done once again,

Hello Krzysztof,
good shot of this Grayling.
The sharpness is perfect and the amount of detail is awesome.
Well composed and a good POV.
I like all the different shades of grey.
Well done,

Hi Chris,
The is the perfect example of a camouflaged setting, this b-fly has no worries :)
Well exposed with sharp detail and great DOF.
Well done mf,

The Tree Grayling merges so very well with the surroundiings in your picture of it, Chris. Perfect camouflage, no doubt.
Still the personality of the butterfly with all its salient features comes out strongly in the picture.
BTW, thank you for your kind words on my 500th post.

Hi Krzysztof,

Well spotted and a well executed shot. I imagine this was a difficult one to get due to the similar colour tones, but the butterfly stands out really well. Great shot.

Hi Krzysztof,
Just acknowledging this wonderful shot from you. Sorry, absolutely tied up with an urgent assignment hence forced to do a short-work.

Hola Krzysztof,
Excelente toma a pesar de su camuflaje, gran definición y detalles, buena luz y textura, saludos

Hello Krzys,
Excellent capture of this interesting southern species of Grayling. Like ours very well camouflaged. Excellent sharpness and fine colours that stand out nicely against the environment. The dry diagonal twigs are a bonus here too!
Many thanks and have a nice weekend, Ulla
