|This aromateezer was shot under bright day-light/noon/ with the built in flash of a Pentax K100D with a russian Волна-9 macro lens-UV filter and a little patience- the bugger took his time reaching the top of the plant:-)))ISO 200, exp.time 1/180s.,F number of the Волна-9 was at it's max.16.|
Some info about the bug-
Hemipterans are hemimetabolous, meaning that they do not undergo metamorphosis between a larval phase and an adult phase. Instead, their young are called nymphs, and resemble the adults to a large degree. Hemiptera is the largest insect order to be hemimetabolous; all the orders with more species have a pupal phase (Lepidoptera, Coleoptera, Diptera and Hymenoptera).
Although hemipterans are very variable in their overall form, their rostrum is quite distinctive. The only insects that could be confused with true bugs are cockroaches and psocids, both of which have longer many-segmented antennae, and some beetles, but these have fully-hardened forewings which do not overlap.
Many aphids are parthenogenetic, such that females can lay unfertilised eggs, which are clones of themselves.
Hope you like it:-))

I like very much the clear and sharp details got on the insect, you had a good illumination source and took good advantage of it.
The subject really stands up from the dark background.
