Hi there!
Today some older picture taken during short travel to Czech Rapublic- amazing mountainous area called Skalni Mesto (rock's town) or Teplicke Skaly.
Huge monolith rocks with different shapes surrounds small footpath under them. Teplicke Skaly is one of the greatest and most beautifull rock's town I've ever seen. Area of this place is not big- 7x5 km. Between the great rocks, or even on them, is growing big trees: spruces, pines, firs. During the walk we can find few lakes with interesting green or red colours which are remainings of a quarry which was here many years ago.
Impresive rocks are also heaven for climbers.
If You are interested in some more information, visit: http://www.teplickeskaly.cz/ .
What I like the most in this photo- small and thin tree in the center, on the top of a rock which looks like finger of big hand- that why I called the picture greetings:)
Original shot, hand held camera, resized and resharpened for TN.
Place worth visiting for sure.
I hope You will like it! Cheers for watching and commenting! |

Hello Adrian,
Unique composition with perfect title. Perfect lighting against the clear sky. TFS.

Hi Adria,
Very dramatic stone, and the trees are true survivors.
All the best.

Hi Adrian,
Great image of these huge monoliths at Teplicke Skaly.
Is this a limestone area with caves ?
