Common snowdrop (Galanthus nivalis )
Sněženka podsněžník
(Is plant from tribe Amaryllidaceae. Is endangered species plants CR.)

Common Name: Common snowdrop
Genus: Galanthus
Species: nivalis
Exposure: Partial shade
Hardiness: Hardy
Soil type: Well-drained/light, Clay/heavy, Acidic, Chalky/alkaline
Height: 15cm
Spread: 8cm
Time to divide plants: March to May
Flowering period: February to March

For many gardeners snowdrops herald the end of winter. They are extraordinarily hardy, especially the common species, and can be depended on to flower very early whatever the weather - the colder and gloomier it is, the longer the blooms last, but in a sunny warm season they are comparatively fleeting, so always plant in light shade. They grow in most soils, but make the best plants in heavier moist soils. They are most successfully transplanted while growing (in the green), and dry bulbs often take a season to settle down before flowering. (source:www.bbc.co.uk/gardening/plants/)

Hola Milos:
Hermosa compo.

Hi Milos

What a warm "spring" welcome.
Unfortunately winder is very wierd here, too, and i'm affraid it might have a bad effect on the flora and fauna.
Anyway, the shot itself is superb!
Charming and super-clear details on the cnowdrops, lovely and very well saturated colors and an exceptional DOF.
Great work with your macro lens!
