Beauty, Dan. Great details. I think him being a bit aggigated helped his look with the expression, open beak, and ruffled feathers. Well lit. Nicely composed in the frame, too.

I laughed when I first saw this - he seems to be throwing a tantrum. The clarity here is remarkable, especially since I can see the softness of his feathers and the catchlight in his eye. I love the composition as well. I am reminded of my baby magpies - also very good at throwing tantrums - this is endearing.

This is an excellent capture. When I look at the pose this bird made, I immediately think of an opera singer. That is a great pose you've captured here. Your shot also has great details and composition. Very nicely done. TFS
