Hares are a common sight in the tundra of west Greenland. This photo was taken about 30km East of Kangerlussuaq, on the tundra near the inland ice sheet that covers the bulk of Greenland.
I slightly modified the balance of the image by adding more white background above the hare's ears because the original image nearly clipped them off and didn't leave much space between the hare and the edge of the frame. Looking at the image now, I suppose I could have done a cleaner job of things - a few splotches stick out a bit. Clearly I'm still trying to pick up the basics of photoshop...
