[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
There was whole swan family at the Tamula lake. I was even attacked by mother for getting too close. I was so concentrated I forgot about everything around and suddenly I heard sizzling noise and I felt pain in my leg where mother hit. I stood still and whole family left. I have whole series of it.

Lauri, it looks like you have captured some kind of angelic swan here! I almost like the way his feathers glow around the edges, but the bright water behind is a little much. You managed to get the face and front at a nice exposure, but at the expense of the rest of the picture. One more little thing, in my opinion he has a little too much space above his head and not quite enough under his feet. Nice job (even while being attacked!)

Well that'll teach ya! Just kidding. This certainly is no ugly duckling and the cygnet is still in it's most adorable stage. Nice capture and you deserve a metal of bravery to getting the shot even under attack. Still, ya can't blame mama for being upset. That was one of the first rules I learned...never get too close to stress out the wildlife.
