Hi Radomir, this is very similar to a limestone rock formation we have here in England, called Malham Cove. The only difference is that this one is still flowing with water and Malham Cove is a long dead remnant of the ice age! Very nice vertigo inducing POV here, and fascinating rock bands..

Wow look at all that layering...it is a super geologic study. A place I sure would have liked as a younger man and more agile..one can see evidence of all the various minerals..ooooops..just now noted that you also saw that...Yes...That is the way of geology eh? It is one of my favorite subjects but my wife took it over from me in college many ears ago and she is my geology expert when I need one.she never tossed her textbooks. We have a library!

Hello Radomir,
Yes the different colured roch strata are fascinating in this capture and are to my mind the main feature of this image. I suppose it must be the different minerals in the strata that cause differences in the algal growths.
Nicely composed and exposed.
TFS this interesting image,
Kind regards,
Ivan

Hi Radomir
A lovely shot showing this waterfall very well. It actually looks quite natural and very like some of the waterfalls in the limestone areas of the Pennines.

Cześć Radku
Też nie spodziewałabym się po Estonii takich wodospadów :)
Jeśli chodzi o zdjęcie to bardzo dobrze udało Ci się oddać warstwy skały.
Dobra perspektywa i ostrość.
Pozdrawiam

Hi Radomir!
I'm glad to see a picture of this country that I don't know well. The title suits the content very well. It's amazing to notice these different layers of colours. Moreover, the notes are excellent and explain the reason of the phenomenon.
Kind regards

The colours of the rock strata are really very fascinating, Radomir.
I am also impressed with the half moon shape of these rocks which, I think, were formed by the continuous flow of water.
It is an interesting shot and thanks for sharing it.
Regards.

Hello Radomir,
Very interesting posting! You have well chosen your point of view to show these amazing different colors of geological layers and also to show us the vertiginous hight of the waterfall. Very beautiful natural colors. I hope that you didn't take to many risks to take this picture!
Thanks a lot
Bon dimanche

Hi Radek
I saw that i overlooked some of your recent photos, but had an easy one in picking one to critique on when i saw this beauty.
You are right: it's not the height of the waterfall that takes the eye away here, but the strata behind it.
The "multi-coloured BG" is amazing and it's so well visible how the water managed to carve its way through all those layers of different types of rocks.
The result here is absolutely amazing and i'm sure it's even better when you see it with your own eyes (and also get to hear the sould of the falling water).
Great photo and presentation!
Bravo and TFS
Horia

Dear Radomir,
a very impressing scenery showing quite uniquely multicoloured layers of sediments on that cliff - with the falling waters just starting to cut through, probably reaching ground level in 26,000 years ...
An unexpected place to see in the flat Baltics. Thank you my dear friend. With all my best wishes to you.
Peter
