[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
For many bird photographers of treknature, this can be an easy and obvious pic, but for me it is a great success ..eheheh ... it's never easy to get close to the birds, fortunately I found this sparrow very collaborative.

Class: Aves
Order: Passeriformes
Family: Passeridae
Genus: Passer
Species:P. domesticus

The house sparrow (Passer domesticus) is a bird of the sparrow family Passeridae, found in most parts of the world. A small bird, it has a typical length of 16 cm (6.3 in) and a weight of 24–39.5 g (0.85–1.39 oz). Females and young birds are coloured pale brown and grey, and males have brighter black, white, and brown markings. One of about 25 species in the genus Passer, the house sparrow is native to most of Europe, the Mediterranean region, and much of Asia. Its intentional or accidental introductions to many regions, including parts of Australia, Africa, and the Americas, make it the most widely distributed wild bird.

PASSERO DOMESTICO

Hello Luciano,
Wonderful shot of this female House Sparrow. Looks like you were right on top of it as the detail is exceptionally fine. Great eye contact with a bit of catchlight and the earth toned colors are beautiful. Love the bright blue sky as a BG.
Hard to believe that a bird which has always been so common is slowly declining in numbers around the globe. Great job!!
Ron

Very nice picture Luciano , well done.

Thanks for sharing.

I'm convinced that their populations are dwindling away at an alarming rate, Luciano. As such, getting a picture of them has added value to it now-a-days.
Great portrait of this female you captured on a red man-made perch.
Thanks.
Ram

The House sparrow are lovely and by every body's door step
what a lovely and peaceful expression well done LUCIANO GOLLINI

Ciao Luciano, delizioso uccellino dall'occhietto vispo, ottimi dettagli, splendida nitidezza e magnifici colori, bravissimo, ciao Silvio
PS la bellargus è inconfondibile, ha segni neri sulla frangia bianca delle ali che si distinguono sia al dritto sia al rovescio

Hi Luciano,
