[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note [French]
Flowering remains mysterious, it occurs with very long intervals (after 10,20,80 years even more d' one century!), often it is gregarious and touches the same species in the whole world The cause of flowering is still unexplained. After having flowered, thatches are desiccated. We think that exists an internal clock able to program flowering over the world. Often, the plant dies, sometimes leaving with its feet a sowing of new seedlings which will give a new generation of bamboos with a genetic variability, outcome with new cultivars.

Bonjour Didier,
Splendid collage about the flowering bamboo.
I never have detailed the small inflorescences of this plant.
The flowers are really small ones!
Very good the details on each frame.
Felicitacions et merci du partage.

Bonjour Didier

Merci!
Claudine
