Grey Heron in dusklight.

Herons are quite easy to spot these days. They are pretty inactive and spend most of the day seating at the same place ! There are few islands in the middle of the river and a couple of herons live there in the absence of predators.

Bonjour Pascal , c'est excellent vous avez reussis un cliché qui n'est pas facile à faire et permettez moi de vous faire une petite reflexion quand aux autres de vos clichés ... ils sont trop " gros plan " ... c'est plus agréable quand les 1/3 sont respectés mais Bravo et Bonnes fêtes de fin d'année

I love the light and the composition on this one, Pascal.
Great job and TFS. : )

The lighting here is very good especially with the shadows. The white chin on the bird looks blown out as it always does with the grey heron. It happens with me too whenever I try to take a pic of this bird and its really difficult to get it right. Regardless, this is a very nice image and the composition is very good too. Thanks for sharing!
