Female Mallard - femelle colvert

No need to present this common bird anymore I guess. Only thing noticeable about this one is that white spot on its neck, which differs from other ducks of her kind (females are all brown usually).

Original modified in PS (levels + quite a bit of sharpening due to slow exposure...)

Hi Pascal, very nice caputere of speed!!! To my opinion its bright to capture a well known animalll like this. Colours are bright and the watter as a mirror is excellent, congratulions and best wishes for 2006. Reina

un bel "acquatissage" de ce canard, j'aime la photo par son dynamisme et par le reflet dans l'eau.

Good capture showing speed and grace of the duck.
If the original has some more room on the left hand side, it may be good to show us this too.
Birds are great subjects and your clarity is superb, noticing the flying water from its foot.
