Grey Heron - Héron cendré

Once again another shot of a grey heron... as it was in the good range for a decent photo.

The bird is not sitting on the branch but standing right behind !

I chose not to do a tight crop around the bird. I like the surrounding elements and their geometry... It looks as if the heron is just another object in the scene...

Hi Pascal,
I usually like a tight crop also as Marx showed us, but sometimes the surrounding elements enhance the shot. I think you made a good choice with this one. It all looks very good to me just like you have it.
