The subject

Cygnus atratus

This specie has been introduced in many countries, including France from Australia, mainly for his decorative effect.

Feathers completely black, with a red beak. On the beak, a white spot. At the extremity of the wings, a few white feathers, mainly visible during the flight. Nevertheless, you can see them on the picture.

Hi Philippe
Beautiful. The photo is very surrealistic. The ripples in the water and the folds in the bird have come out very well. Introduced species are always a problems. Beaver, which was introduced in 40s and 50s in Argentina for furs are posing challenges to the water bodies and forests and the government is planning to exterminate more than 100,000 beavers.

Hello Philippe,
Beautiful picture of this Black Swan. From such difficult angle you framed it well. Like your PP work here. Good details and colour.
Thanks for sharing,

Srikumar
