Brief description

The bird looks like a goose. Feathers are grey. The top of the head is white. The beak is completely black. It is covered with a thin green yellow cover in the middle (sometimes the bird is called “green goose”). Iris from the eyes is brown. Young birds are similar to the adults, slightly less coloured.
This goose is sometimes very familiar. The one you can see in the picture has done the visit of the reserve with me, looking at any times what I was doing (maybe was it paid by the owner of the reserve to control me?); it was a very good day for me, as I was alone; finally, I was not.
One thing is that it was very happy to be collaborate with me for the shooting. I only forgot to send him a snapshot.

Hello Philippe,
A wonderful portrait shot of this charming Cape Barren Goose. Excellent detail and perfect white balance rendering the best whites and natural color tones. Awesome eye contact with plenty of catchlight visible. The exposure is just right and you have obtained plenty of DOF. Looks like I could reach into my computer screen and touch it.
Well done!!

Hi Phillipe
Superb shot. First time I am seeing this bird in a closeup in a picture. very sharp image. Colors are beautiful. Thanks a lot for sharing.

Hello Philippe,
Beautiful clos-up
Good details (although a few portion look over sharpen). Perfect natural colour.
