Hi Ferran,

This Carlina is a new flower for me! What a perfect shot - the flower is glowing. Both the colors and the details are amazing. It is beautiful as it seems to be resting on the ground. A wonderful setting and a superb centered composition.

A great portrait of this species of Carlina ground thistle, one that I have never seen in real life. Technically excellent and the POV shows the flower and the rosette leaf formation very well.
Thanks Ferran and all the best,
Ivan

Hola Ferran,
Grazie e complimenti
Saludos cordiales
Maurizio

Hi Ferran,
beautifully captured with lovely symmetry.
the leaves and the petals are very unique and special to me. Looks like a smiling sun. But most of all, the inner spikes are indeed well emphasiized in superbs details.

regards,
Foozi

Hello Ferran !
I have seen these flowers during my stay in the mountains - I also know that in some villages, people are drying these flowers and then they are nailing them on the door, it is believed to bring luck into the house. As for the picture, it is an excellent one, nicely focused on the heart of the flower. I like all the details we can see, and I also like the natural colors, the tight composition, the geometrical shape of the flower. Very well done !
Valérie.
