Hello David,
A great shot of this fine looking morel, we call them sponge mushrooms here in Ohio. I have hunted them for years and simply love their awesome taste.
You have photographed this particular specimen from an attractive low POV. Nicely focused showing wonderful detail and beautiful color. Your use of flash brought out the colors and helped to illuminated the crevices in it's flesh. Your photo also makes me hungry:)
