Excellent macro closeup. The fly and flower are right in the focal zone, displaying very nice colors. I'm also thinking if there was a lighter background the details of the fly would stand out even more but then the flower might have a problem where it would blend in more to the background, I probably would of went for the lighter BG since the fly is more of the main focus here. This is still a great shot. :)

Very nice composition, I like the space on the right - it gives a breathe to the whole shot. Excellent details, colours and light too.

Nice picture of Muscidae fly :) I like this composition because of very good contrast between insect and flower, also the free space on the right side is nice.
