[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Spring has definitely arrived in Paris, the daffodils are in full bloom and the animals are thinking of love. In the Jardin de Bagatelle the one year old Peacocks are strutting there stuff and practicing their mating rituals. This is one of three peacocks trying to attract the attention of a peahen. She wan't too intersted in their advances. When they were not trying to attract the females attention the peacocks were practicing scaring off pigeons - but then the pigeons didn't seem to interested either.

Wow! What an interesting picture. As many peacocks as I have seen in my life, I have never seen one with brown tail feathers like that. So that is what a youngster looks like!
Thanks for the nature lesson. Beautiful picture with great colors and composition. TFS.

Lovely picture with great colors... Never seen a peacock like this... Very funny...TFS...Ina...

Very unusual peacock, as manyee pointed out - why is the tail brown? Striking picture, with the bird strutting among or behind the daffodils.
