Totally cool Joey. I swear I wake up in some parallel universe where unique and unusual creatures appear every day. This one looks in colour as though he could be a poster at a "rave"...those folks are so much into these types of lightnings and colours...sort of like my generation was into psychadelic images...and black lights..a great use of colour and tonal qualities but what less to expect from the young genius!

Hi joe i have only ever seen one in the garden about 3 years ago and then only once it had been hot for days. This is a good close up with fine detail and colours.I like the blur to the wings which give a look of movement. well done tFS.

Hi Joe
I love these, I wish I had them in my garden. The red BG is amazing and I love the DOF with the flowers going from sharp to OOF. Wonderful details on the body. I love it

Hi Joe!
Nice and difficult to photograph insect species! I like vivid, and perfectly saturated colours (even if the photo is a little to red as for me :>). Very good timing too :)

Hello Joe,
Browsing back in your gallery I must admire this stunningly bright red capture. It looks like the Hawkmoth fancies Geraniums - and the colours are magnificent! Brilliant timing and focus on the Hawkmoth and very sharp details.
Well done!
TFS and best wishes, Ulla
