Gonepteryx cleopatra (also called Cleopatra or Cleopatra butterfly) is a medium sized butterfly of the family Pieridae, that is native to the Mediterranean region (Southern Europe, North Africa and Anatolia).

Hello Joey, We were too close to be a neighbor. One shot away. This is a beautiful shot showing the veins and nerves of the butterfly. Excellent sharpness and I love the color flowing from the eye to the neck. Well done Ganesh

Nice close-up. Pictured butterfly as well as flowers are wonderful and you managed to show their beauty excellently. Perfect use of flash light, excellent DOF, great details and sharpness and nice colours. I like cropping so much too. Well done and TFS.

Great macro here with this "in-depth" close-up of the beautiful Cleopatra.
