Cyclophora annularia / Mocha / Ahorn-Gürtelpuppenspanner / la Phalène mariée ou l'Éphyre omicron.
The Mocha Cyclophora annularia
(Fabricius, 1775)
Wingspan 18-22 mm.
A rather attractive species, this moth is scarce, but widely distributed in woodland habitat throughout the southern part of Britain.
It is double-brooded, flying from May to early June, and then in late July and August.
The larval foodplant is field maple (Acer campestris).

Das ist wirklich ein wunderschöner Falter und was für ein Namen: Ahorn-Gürtelpuppenspanner. Schön präsentiertes Bild , frage mir nur, was dieser blaue Hintergrund wohl ist?
