[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I have taken this shot in 2007, with a sonny cybershot, at the same place as my previous shots of ducks
I would just showing you this strange duckling, the mother duck has only this two babys, the beautiful and the ugly

In workshop, another view of the ugly duckling

I think, it will not be a wonderful swan , like in the fairytale of Hans Christian Andersen

Is this the result of some deformity, Jacqueline?
The poor thing does look on the uglier side.
I have seen your workshop image too and that together with this one exhibits the thematic content of your pictures effectively.
Warm regards,
Ram

Hi Jacqueline,

The left little duck are indeed an ugly one.
The ugly duck from the country as in a n fairytale.
Good pov and details.
You have here hard light but further beautiful colours.

Gert

Hi Jacqueline . I think you will find that the soft feathers have been rubbed off. When the new set grows it too will be beautiful. You were able to take a good picture of the twins. With fine detail and colours. Well done TFS.

Hi Jacqueline,
A nice capture of these ducklings. A bit over exposed. But still then the details are fine. Very good composition. Thanks a lot for sharing.

Hello Jacqueline, superb shot of these lovely babies.
TFS and G's,
Mehmet

Hola Jacqueline,
nos presentas una simpática fotografía pero como es evidente, la intensa luz en el amarillo de las aves te ha jugado una mala pasada :-)
Un saludo y buena semana: Josep Ignasi.

Ciao Jacquelin, poor ugly little duck, may be it became a wonderful swan? You think its impossible, but may be it will be a bueutiful duck:), lovely fun duo, fantastic details and splendid sharpness, very well done, ciao Silvio

Hello Jacqueline, pretty babies:) the uggly one i think newly hatched. Wonderful shot.
TFS and regards,
Deniz

Salut !

Hi Jacqueline,
what a story you have and you presented it so well in long run.
Whatever, the shot is lovely with soft and fluffy feathers well seen. The lighting ias well exploited and it gives the warm of the duckling being together.

Regards,
Foozi

Bonjour Jacqueline,

Pierre

Hi Jacqueline, Good subject showing variation within nature. Good clear view. The little sony's are good cameras for sure. Easy to carry around, and not settings to worry about. Good natural photograph. TFS. Murray.

This is a very beautiful shot of these ducklings, Jacqueline.
Very well done!

Bonsoir Jacqueline,

Je n'avais pas vu ces deux là!
Trop sympas (tous les deux : le beau et le laid)

Bien repéré, bien photographié

A bientôt

Hi Jacqueline,
Nice " family " portrait of these fluffy little ducks.Nice sharp image throughout and well composed.
Regards,
Erwin..

Hello Jacqueline,

Fantastic picture.
Lighting and composition are splendid.
Good note.

Jacqueline,
The duckling may appear ugly but the image is OUTSTANDINGLY AMAZING!!!
You should ask a mother owl if its baby is BEAUTIFUL... and it is.... ALWAYS.
I own an African Grey Congo that speaks English & Portuguese, sings 9 songs... says THOUSANDS of sentences. It broke out of its shell right before my eyes... Honestly it "seemed" UGLY; however, look at it now: THE JOY OF MY LIFE.
Most friendly greetings from Canada.

Bonjour!

Moin Francais est merde. So let me continue in English.

Sweet duckling photo. Nice colors captured perfectly.

Thanks for the visit. Merci.

Hello Jacqueline
I guess we all have gone through an awkward stage and you've captured an awkward stage of this little duckling. Nicely composed, colour and details. I really wonder if the little duckling has lost his plumage from mange. I hope he will be okay.
TFS Janice

Hello Jacqueline,

Seems like this poor fellow has some sort of disease making him lose the feathers on the head!
Hopefully this will improve in due time...
A lovely image with fine details, the two featherballs are well exposed!

Greetings,
Pablo -
