Vibidia duodecimguttata

This looks like a small form of the Orange ladybird with twelve spots. It was recorded in 1905 from Wychwood, Oxfordshire. Elsewhere in NW Europe it is still quite rare in ancient woodlands. The Orange ladybird occasionally has twelve spots and other species (e.g. Calvia) can look very similar
