Wauw Jean louis,
This is the second time in a week that I see this, technical a good macro, the light is hard, but even that it is the moment from shooting the fantastic pov and the dof, what a capture, great job.

This is avery good macro, J Louis.
Pity that it's a slighty bright parts in the face.
The details are very good and the POV also. Very good DOF and nice colours.
Very well done.

Awesome macro! Good DOF and POV, i agree with carper about the overexposed forehead, but the timing was great! Good work!

What a great capture! I agree that it would be nice if there wasn't an overexposure in the head of the mantis, but it doesn't take away from the photo! Great job!

Hello,
Very good capture. Even to the OE areas at the head of the mantis, it is a good image fill with information. One thing want to add; the prey is not a dragonfly but seems to be an ant lion or something similar considering the antenneas.
Good work.

Lol, looks like a scene from a nightmare, but very well done. Maybe just a little over-sharpened, and the artifacts in the background are a little distracting. Maybe creating a seperate layer in photoshop, adding a slight guassian blur to the background, whilst retaining the crisp sharp foreground would help?

Amazing, alien critter, Jean Louis! The bit of dragonfly wing really brings home the fact that this insect is a carnivore!

Cette mante est très impressionnante grâce à votre point de vue. C'est vrai, elles se déplacent lentement mais pour la capture et le repas, elles sont rapides ! Compliments Jean-Louis.

Very interesting capture. Naki is right on the antlion idea. It's not a dragonfly. Nice POV and details.
