Now that's a red red robin! To me it looks as though you've actually just missed the point of focus, focussing on the wing rather then the critical eye area, which appears just a little soft.

Beautiful photo Didier, a little more DOF wouldn't have hurt (the face is just a little soft) but it's still very nice. I really like to overall colors and composition. TFS!

Real beauty Didier! Very cute little bird, full of warm colours. I like composition with green leaves. Good idea to use telescope. I tried few times digicams + binoculars, but images were very dark and distorted.

Very sharp and detailed shot. As usual with extreme telephoto, the DOF is rather shallow, so not everything is perfectly in focus. I think there is a slight reddish color cast - perhaps this was taken in the evening? On he other hand, this is really a red robin!!

Beautiful colors, and excellent composition. As good as the detail is, I agree that it could use just alittle more DOF. I would imagine that you can shoot from really great distances with that setup.

Les couleurs ici sont tres belles et agreable a regarder.
Un petit F8 aurait peut etre permis d'avoir la tete aussi dans le focus mais je sait tres bien que la critique est aisée mais l'art est difficile donc je dit bravo.
J'aurais par contre a titre d'info savoir la longueur focal car je pense que l'approche n'as pas dut etre facile.
