Buena captura Jean Michel.
La postura del insecto con esa diagonal natural es muy atractiva.
Buena agudeza y colorido... tal vez existe una leve sobre exposicion, pero aceptable.
Atinado encuadre e interesantes notas.
Good capture Jean Michel.
The position of the insect with that natural diagonal is very attractive.
Good colorful sharpness and... Perhaps exists one slight one over expose, but acceptable.
Accurate grame and interesting notes.
Excellent work Jean Michel, I love the details and composition. However I think the inclusion of the rear legs would have improved it a little. Very good work.

Hello jean , Glad you put the note at the top I was about to go spend some time on a hunt for this exelent image as I rember it well, Thank you for transfering it to TN it is a welcome addition , it shows a classic pose for a mantis, good and sharp though out though the back is showing a little over exposure but not seriously enough to spoil the image.

Jean, Composed well with good detail. A great note with description AND shooting details! A tad over on the backside but not much. Nice job!

Very good shot! I'm not into macros (yet), but this image is alive! I agree with Paul, it would have been great if the leg was there, but I know what excitement can do to objective thinking.

This is beautiful. The image is sharp, the color great and the DOF excellent. A pity on the one side that the on leg has been cropped off, but on the other hand it allowed you to get closer to the subject.
Thanks for posting

This is an excellent shot. I have a number of pics of one of these guys but they are of a captured insect. This is captured "in the wild" and is just great.

My son was captivated by this image, Jean Michel, and was not disappointed when I opened the thumbnail. I like it too, by the way! Composition at the diagonal works very well to add an edginess to the feel of this strange and menacing critter. You've also managed the light very nicely. Thanks!

Jean Michel, the leaves and the trees form a beautiful picture. In some portions of the photo, it's even difficult do know where the leg ends and the leaf begins.
Excellent job. Great sharpness.
