[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
In Guadeloupe, the sea is the most wonderful thing, it's wild and beautiful and loud. And all around the island you can see land coming out of the sea. This picture is taken in one of my favourite places in Grande-Terre. Hope you like it.

félicitations et merci du partage

Hi Birgit,
Pleasant composition and a lot of action here! Surfs are always attractive elements, and here you capture them very well... Maybe a tad more sharpness/contrast but then I'm a freak for those...

I like the shot Birgit,
the shot has a nice sea atmosphere, it is well taken and I like the balance in the shot. I think when you had focus here on the rock the pov had been better and was the photo sharper and better, but even that I like the good job.

Hi Birgit
It is easy to see why this place is one of your favourites. Blue sea, blue sky, and I assume a beach that goes on forever.
This is a good composition with the divide between the sea and the sky nicely on the 1/3 axis. Also the horizon is level and that is something we so easily tend to forget to focus on.
The colours are nice (but again I think it could do with a bit of saturation - please see the workshop - I hope you like it). DOF and detail is good (the workshop also enhanced this aspect a little bit), and the exposure/ lighting is great (no burnout on the white of the waves).
Very well done and TFS.
