Well J Louis,
I have seen both of your bees on TE and here, and indeed it is differcult to say wich one is better. I think the one you send to TE but I must say it is differcult to make a choise. The details on this one are fine, the pof and the dof are good and I like the shadow unther the bee and the colours are nice. Very good job

Great macro Louis. Everything is very good except title :-) This isn't bee but Hoover or maybe rather Drone Fly. Keep up good work!

A nice close-up, are the colors natural? Focus a bit soft on the bee.
TFS.
Firslty let me wish you all the best for 2005, J Louis. I have been on vacation a bit and might have missed some of your posts.
The photo is extremely close up. Very sharp showing the details nicely. The subject contrasts well with the BG. Great shot!
The subject I think is not a bee but a hoverfly. The antennae is the main ID factor. I think it's a Drone Fly (Eristalini genus).
