Hello Peter,
What a strange fly... humm... seems like have a "undersized" head!...
Of course, if a great, great macro MF!

Incredible photograph! Meticulously perfect in every way.

What a flawless macro with your compact, Peter!
The focus is entirely on the Fly; all around it, the blurred backdrop isolates it beautifully.
Warm regards.

Excellent detail and light. Good to see the interesting detail of the body and the other fine structures

Hello Peter,
A superb macro with fine sharpness where in focus with a good DOF, fine natural colours and composition to make this a very good capture of this species of Dance Fly.
You can see the half hidden long proboscis that is typical of Empididae.
Thanks and best wishes,

Lieber Peter,

Machs gut, Peter. Herzlich grüsst Dich
