[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I have difficulties in the determination of species of several beetle families such as Elateridae and Curculionidae.
This is also true for the Elateridae specimen shown on the picture. Perhaps, someone has an idea.

Interesting and beautiful photo with good composition, nice lighting and good sharpness. I think that your beetle is Agrypnus murinus (Linnaeus, 1758)

Hello Peter,

Professional macro of this beetle looking inquisitively/intelligently towards it's next bite. The sharpness is impressive with the wing pattern/iconography clearly visible & in choice light conditions.

Unfortunately, I do not know this species name ... but with details presented as such - it should be easily IDed.
