[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
In the last year I discovered a large population of
- Boloria dia
- family: Nymphalidae

within a specific part of a nature reserve. It was not easy to come close enough to the butterflies to take pictures. But because of the large numbers of individuals the chance was not bad to achieve some suitable photographic results.

Hello Peter
Wonderful capture of this beautiful butterfly.Wonderful colours despite the difficult light and great sharpness on focus.Thank You.
Have a nice weekend!
Best regards

change from f/8 to f/9 results in a slight improvement, Peter
but a more marked the closure of the diaphragm with a shutter speed longer' short, would have given more 'depth, brightness' and detail
other than that, the macro is undoubtedly of value for a species that appears rarely on TN
have a nice w.end sERGIO

Lieber Peter,
