Hallo Thorsten
What a lovely scene you have captured here. This must have been a very interesting scene to look at while you where photographing it. Each one of the waterbirds in your image have a different posture and each one’s facial expression differ from the other. I like the way the Swan is somewhat blurred out, giving emphasis to the Grebbe’s. The little one on the adults back is a lovely and cosy sight to look at, and one wonder why the one in the middle is being so “otherwise” swimming in the opposite direction than the rest of the family. Thanks for sharing.

Hi Thorsten. I like this one very much. The Grebe family is very clear with fine detail .With their refections in the water. But the picture is made by the Mute Swan getting ever closer. I also like the way its OOF. wel ldone TFS.

This picture is a truly magical - I love the peaceful, serene atmosphere, and the light is so gorgeous... It's always nice to see different species on the same picture, like here. Beautiful Grebe family, and the big Swan behind them. I also like the baby Grebe sitting on his mother's back, that's cute. The details are excellent, the composition is perfect, the colors are natural and very pleasant. Very well done !
